All classes start at 12pm and end at 6pm EST.

What to prepare in advance: Mary will be in touch with you by email before the workshop begins to help select your 1 or 2 contrasting songs for the final Performance. Songs must be under 3-minutes. You are responsible to find the karaoke track(s), but you are also allowed to sing a cappella.

February 5th:
First Class – Let the Sun Shine – begins with movement, awareness, and then Mary takes you through her 10-step method, The Revolutionary Send, breaking down her 5 elements of voice technique connecting to 5 elements of the emotional life. The work culminates in the group song, Let the Sun Shine, from the musical HAIR. The second part of the class, Mary will hear the 1 or 2 contrasting song choices each student will be working on during the workshop and give each student homework for the following week.

February 12th:
Second Class – starts with group movement, awareness, a review of The Revolutionary Send, and a vocal warm-up. Then each student will work on one of their songs with Mary. Each student will receive Feedback from Mary and the students may participate in supportive Feedback.

February 19th:
Third Class - starts with group movement, awareness, a review of The Revolutionary Send, and a vocal warm-up. Then each student will work on their song or the other contrasting song with Mary. Each student will receive Feedback from Mary and the students may participate in supportive Feedback. (Mary will instruct the students how to invite Friends & Family to the Platinum Performance the following week.)

February 26th:
Zoom Performance – the first 3 hours will be a soundcheck and run-through of the final Performance, all singing their 1 or 2 contrasting songs back to back in the order Mary provides. Then invited Family & Friends will join us on Zoom to enjoy the final Zoom Performance.
